Welcome! I am an assistant professor at FEEC/UNICAMP, in the Department of Computer Engineering and Automation (DCA).
In medical imaging, I am a principal researcher at MICLab, working on deep learning for segmentation, multimodal analysis, and open benchmarks in clinical CT, MRI, and diffusion imaging.
I also work on natural language processing and transformer-based models—including pre-training and efficient architectures—with applications in Portuguese and multimodal settings.
